As a seamstress sewing for Interior Designers I recognize a gift that a good designer has that is essential to making it in the world of design. They can 'see the end from the beginning'. They look at a room and know what it will look like before they start. Then they start bringing all the pieces together to make it all happen. They buy just the right furniture and accessories. They pick out fabrics and bring to me and I make the window treatments and other fabricated pieces to finish off the original look that the Designor saw. When it is completed you can say the puzzle came together 'one piece at a time' to complete the original design.
I believe the same is true with God's plan for man. He said He knew us before He formed us in our mothers womb. God is 'all knowing' so He knew who would become a part of His family. He scattered the pieces of the original picture placing them throughout history so that we would gain the experience we would need so that we would become a perfect fit for our piece of the puzzle. Just like I take a piece of fabric and trim it down and sew it up so it will be the finishing touch on the orignal picture the Designor saw; so God puts finishing touches on His family through the lives we live.
I know God as the Architect of History who saw the end from the beginning. If you are wondering where you 'fit in', I suggest you look to Him. Start with prayer and ask Him to reveal His plan for you and then read His word (the Bible) and you will start to see what your piece of the puzzle looks like.
